I have never heard of a clean out on the side of your house or outside your house, and my son is a plumber, LOL
I am going out on a limb and think that we in Canada mainly have a basement and there is a clean out in the basement for the sewer. Those of you that have no basement must have a clean out outside. Is this right? I would bet if we had access to the clean out outside there would be a bylaw saying we can't use it in such a way. We can't run our sump pump out through the laundry tub pipe.
Most basements will have an ejector pump. If not, the gravity drain has to be deeper than the basement. Most US homes have a clean out for the sanitary sewer line. It is required by code in most locations. I have an adapter that screws right into the 4" line and I hook my stinky slinky up to it. No problems and no mess, as long as the stinky slinky is graded properly from the RV to the cleanout.
