Good to see an American automotive company step in and support their country.
It wasn't just Ford supporting their country....pretty well all the automotive companies were churning out products for the war effort in the USA and Canada during WW2.
Food production from farmers, ranchers, etc...in both countries made a tremendous effort into providing food for the allied forces during WW2.
I've always felt that production of food and war material from North America was one of the decisive factors that enabled the allied victory.
