So what ballpark price are we talking about on this thing for a crew cab 4wd with the diesel and basic amenities like keyless and AC and etc?
I have the salesman at the local GMC dealer working up a price as I write this for a base diesel GMC Canyon Crew Cab 4 x 4 with the only additional option being a factory spray in bed liner. I know that the "base diesel" is at least at SLE level trim and has other mandatory options. I also know that the bedliner is about $ 400.00. I will update this as soon as I know his price...at least we will all have a starting point...

Equipped that way, $35,000-$37,000. - IdaDExplorerSo what ballpark price are we talking about on this thing for a crew cab 4wd with the diesel and basic amenities like keyless and AC and etc?
- I like it. I'd like it better if it had a shorter cab, a longer bed, and a manual transmission!
- hbillsmithExplorerDiesel in my area is $2.09 per gal. now.
- 6_6_OilburnerExplorerAnd the best part, The E98 ECM used in the Colorado Diesel has been used in other applications worldwide since 2014. So its EFI live tuneable right out of the box. :B
I'm really craving one of these trucks for a Daily driver. I've got 2 3/4 ton diesels that I'm kind of sick of driving everyday. I REALLY think this Colorado would make me an awesome grocery getter. - MARK_VANDERBENTExplorerWow Ricatic !! 37 hwy and over 30 average is great !! have a feeling those Colorado/canyon diesels will sell very well.
- 45RicochetExplorerYou know I don't pick up the Canyon till Thursday but the test drive in another truck with the V6 gasser was really impressed with the power, 305 HP in a little extended cab. Yeah only 20 MPG highway but it down right moved. I bet it will be warmer in winter also :W
- Me_AgainExplorer IIIGot to 'LUV' it.

It will be interesting to see the actual MPG. That could influence sales, maybe.
I believe the mid 30's MPG numbers being documented and turned in by the second party testers that work with my stepson are a good indication of what to expect. He has no reason to make up the numbers

It sounds like the MPG will be decent. Maybe it will get tweaked a little more in the future.
I've often wondered how the little Mahindra Diesel truck would have sold if imported to the USA. (which isn't going to happen)
