Back Up Camera For 2004 3500 Dodge Truck
I would like a back up camera for my truck. Has anyone put an after market back up camera in an older truck? If so what brand and how much did it cost?

Wired or Wireless, either way. Wireless will work if you get the transmitter as close as possible to the monitor. Yes, that kind of defeats the purpose of wireless but it is still a little easier than a complete wired system. I added a length to my cable & got the transmitter within 8' feet of the monitor, it works perfect. Another thing I did was connect the power lead to my running lights & turn the lights on when I want to use the camera. It's much easier that way to hitch up, the camera isn't going off & on as it was before when I had it connected to the back-up lights, pulling forward, then reverse, then forward again etc. I also painted the lip of the TT tongue to help. I don't think you have a TT, but this may help others.
