I was at a computer and electronic swap meet a while back. I picked up some ferrite cores that open and can be closed around wires. Snap one around the Radio B+ line. If wire is slack enough wrap it around several times before closing it. Those cores can be found for a couple of dollars.

This sounds worth a try.

My Husband the engineer has been flummoxed by this phenom. He'll be SO impressed when I make this suggestion, based entirely on my superior understanding of electronics...:W

Now I just have to trick him into showing me where that "Radio B+ line" is, 'cause I haven't got a clue! :B
