BAL 7.1 Auto Leveling on a 2017 Outback

Questions and concerns for anyone that is using this system. Had out first setup with this system today, We attempted to use auto deploy and it failed 3 times with an error mentioning something to the effect that the lift jack in the rear reached its limits. We blocked with 4 2 inch blocks and still failed. The site we are on is fairly level and stone. Only the one rear jack has deployed, is that normal depending on what side needs raised ? Is there a way to reboot the system ? Can it be calibrated to level. I ended up using the manual mode and it seemed level at first but now seems a little off. The manual mode has a screen with a level bubble, is that accurate? Still only one rear jack down. Anyone that can give me tips would be appreciated. I know some of you will say these are nothing but trouble. I want to understand what it is doing then I'll feel more comfortable. This was a first time setup. The dealer did it inside the service shop on a concrete floor.
Thanks for any help

Thanks Ken, if you discover anything else about the BAL 7.1 please don't hesitate to share. I'd really like to know how it can be calibrated so the bubble level screen is accurate. I have a dealer scheduled appointment for the original problem I posted. I might just have them calibrate the system if that's possible. Did you ever check the bubble vs a real level ? I agree I'm going to like this once I've learned all the quirks. I'd recommend you check that connection I mentioned. It's directly behind the tire and gets all the road dirt kick up. I plan to check both at the beginning of each season and spray with contact cleaner.
    Thanks Again

  • Problem with leveling jack solved
The quick disconnect at the lift motor was slightly loose and had some dirt. Cleaned and securely reconnected.
    Happy camper again
    Thanks

Just purchased a new Keystone Laredo with the auto leveling system. Mine is always nose low when it is finished doing its thing so I always have to manually fine tune it. A few times it has not wanted to cooperate and I have just turned it off and started over and sometimes it has taken 3-4 times. Obviously they are not perfect but I still like the system. Be patient and play with it and you will get the hang of it, quirks and all.

    Thank you
