Bathroom door on the 10.4

Question

Browsing the forum see the Rugged Mountain Granite series has a sliding door on the facilities. Looks like the exact copy of the Bigfoot 10.4 on the floor plan.

I'd thought a sliding door would do wonders for the floor plan and that Bigfoot needed to implement this. There might even be room for the slide between the wall and shower stall.

I may just remove the door and install hanging beads or a towel on a curtain rod at some time.

I have a sliding bathroom door, and I think it’s brilliant for a truck camper.
Our camper was already a private space and the camper bathrooms are relatively small. We don’t always close ourselves in there by closing that door and it was always in the way on all our previous campers.
Mine is a Northern Lite, its pretty simple how it’s mounted, maybe look at one and see if you could do a little custom conversion. It’s surface mounted, not a true “pocket door” that goes into the wall. If there’s space to slide the door over I think one could be retrofitted.

No room for a slider? Try one of these. Had one in an old gasser class A and it worked well.Accordion door
