When I had an AF , I had the same converter and I added the plug in charge wizard . It acts like a brain to monitor the whole charging process. Some converter models have it built in, others like the 9200 have a plug in additional wizard that you have to buy.

BTW...I paid $190 for my AGM Deka and the chart in my link (previous post) shows CCA 800. You mentioned you needed a high CCA for the genny starting.
I checked out the PD Pendant and that is just a monitor with a manual override button. The documentation says that the charge wizard is built in to the converter already.
The CCA specified for the generator is 450 at < 32F, so that is definitely adequate. Thanks.
