That is a superior design over conventional lead acid design .
The cheapest AGM battery I could find was an Exide EDGE AGM battery .
I paid $ 140 each for a couple of EDGE AGM batteries at BiMart .
The sizes are limited but Exide EDGE AGM has a dual post AGM marine / RV battery plus group 78 which fits duramax with the side bolt post hookup .
