You won't go wrong with 2 6 v GC batteries from Sam's Club. Paying more for a battery will not make it better or last longer, but maintenance will. I paid $74 a piece for the Sam's Club batteries in 2007 and they are still in use today and I dry camp 95% of the time. After a week of dry camping fully charge and equalize several times a year.
