Battery Lock
My version of the home-built battery lock (pre-paint). I used 1-1/2" aluminum flat under the boxes and 1" flat on top.

That is a nice looking setup. You are detering the thief that takes stuff that is convenient. You are encouraging them to look elsewhere.
