I put my charger on it every 6 weeks to keep it charged up and re-install it in the TT in the spring. Have always done the same with my boat batteries. Batteries don't like to be frozen. No reason to leave them outside all winter and keep TT plugged in and wasted electronics running on as well as CO alarm running and wasted electricity as well as TT susceptible to spikes or power low voltages or outages.

I do the same with my many trailers and boats as well. Never had problems with this method.
