Here in Ontario I do much the same but surely this is irrelevant to the OP as he lives in S Calf and (I assume) would still want to use his trailer throughout those months we much further north call "sub freezing winter storage". ;) As I read it, he's just asking for advice on whether to keep his trailer plugged in 24/7, or not, while his trailer sits at his house between uses ... this is no different that what those of us further north would do during our regular camping season and has nothing to do with "winter" storage.
