I do the same with my many trailers and boats as well. Never had problems with this method.
+2 ..... might be a silly reason to some, but my landscaper cant remember that there is a power cord from an outlet to an RV in my driveway. He is also my snow removal guy (snow blower) . Need I say any more ? :S
