IMO There's perfect "white board" world based on LAB tests and there's real world reality. Since I live in reality, I take my boat and RV batteries inside during the winter months. If my body doesn't like the cold winter months, I know my batteries don't like it either. Especially when I need my batteries to last many, many years. Takes less than 5 minutes to disconnect a battery and carry it downstairs. 5 minutes to make a battery last years long? Worth it to me.
