Baxter retains a huger amount of the wilderness experience because of the rules and a limit on visitors. Wild animals everywhere that dogs might chase or at least scare them away. You'll have moose, bears and deer walking through your campground. Some of the best fishing in America.
No generators or TVs running to spoil the experience.
Lots of other places to camp with Tcs right near Baxter. Unload the camper and then have at it. Well worth it!
