A fully trained Service Dog is permitted anywhere that its handler goes. Our Marley has been to every NP we have been to (not Baxter). She ignored all distractions, moose, bear, bison, never broke her cool. Once at the National Zoo in Washington DC in the prairie dog exhibit the PD's went nuts seeing her, she was cucumber cool.
Marley passed away last year, after 14 years of perfection. We are in training with Luna now. The bar has been set high for Luna, She is working hard. I asked the Doctor who picked her out, how they choose service dog candidates. He said they give the puppies IQ tests.Only the smartest are chosen.
