BD exhaust brake FORD 350

In my opinion, the 11 to 14 trucks have enough exhaust braking for towing up to 8000 pounds. Over that, you might need to use the service brakes on some of the steepest grades.

I understand the newer models are even better, but my 2011 pulled my 12k fifth wheel over Donner a few weeks ago and handled it well. You have to get ahead of it, if you want to slow from 70 to 50, the EB won't do it all for you, but it will hold 50 all day.
