Yes, I have seen these wood versions but I don't like how they are not tied to the frame of the truck but just use the side of the truck bed. I'm sure they work well for those that use them but my camper stays on my truck permanently so I'm looking for a more solid solution to tie the alignment brackets to the frame of the truck using the bed bolts. Something I have not seen anyone else do yet.
Didn't mean copy it. Meant your plan was similar and should work. Only difference is how it is fastened in place.
