I found this topic from a forum search about bed mats. The discussion helps a lot, but I am confused about a point.
Several posts say that they use a rubber bed mat, or a rubber bed mat on top of a spray in bedliner.
When people said rubber bed mat, are they referring to a rubber truck bed mat (the type made for and already sized for the truck bed), for example a 3/8 DeeZee mat that someone mentioned (which it seem from other bed mat threads seems to be a popular mat). Or is this referring to a horse stall mat, which I assume is also made out of rubber.
I have read through this entire thread several times and this point is unclear to me.
I suspect that people are referring to DeeZee type mats when they say rubber bed mat. (Except the posts that specifically said horse stall mat).
I suspect that especially when people talk about a rubber truck bed mat on top of a spray in bedliner they are talking about a DeeZee type mat.
I suspect that part of the story may be that with a truck stall mat since it is thicker there may be less need for a spray in liner underneath it. Is that correct?
