I have owned my TC since 1983 and its been in the family since new in 1969. I think I have the best of both worlds. I built a trailer for mine that will also carry one quad along with a quad in the back of the truck. Since I prefer to boondocks I now have 80 gallons of fresh water, 100 pounds of LP, 20 gallons of gasoline, and solar. I can be off the grid for quite some time. Besides, I could have the camper off my trailer and on my F-350 in about one hour if I had the plugs and guides installed on my truck.
It all depends on what you want to do with them. The greatest asset it the versatility of the TC.
