You bought it this past July and did work the same month but you are addressing 2 months later? Could have been damaged at factory, during transportation from factory to dealer, at the dealers lot or while you owned it. There is going to be a bunch of finger pointing. The burden of proof is on you. You might find just replacing the part easier than fighting.
