pros; My '03 Dodge /Cummins...NV5600 tranny....Jacobs exhaust brake is a dream to operate pulling any of my GN/bumper pull/5th wheel trailers up to 16k. Always a perfect gear to be in in all applications. The biggest plus is the Cummins still gets on average 21-23 mpg empty runs and 12-12.5 towing.
Cons; with over 300k miles and 14 years of hard use the Dodge part is starting its nickle here and a dime down hill run (power door lock/head light/heater door/etc) although to date cost has been less than 800 dollars.
