The only complaint I have about my 2016 f350 concerns the diesel particulate filter display when it flashes on the information center. It appears/disappears so quickly that I believe that I miss it sometimes. Does anyone know of way to have some type of alarm sound added to the display when the warning shows?
I don't know about an alarm but I know the dealer can activate a ghost screen within your information center that tells you how full your DPF is. Once regen begins you can watch your DPF levels drop. However, I've heard that some dealers may charge you to perform this update while others were happy to do it for free.
Yes. My dealer wants $120 to give me that screen. :M I haven't done it yet. I've heard of guys getting it by going back to the shop and asking the tech nicely to do it.
Re: the original question; The best feature on my truck is the engine. Being the first diesel I've owned, it continues to amaze me. The worst feature is the turning radius. Kind of knew this going in, and since I love everything else about it I can live with it. There are a couple things I wish it had (Back up camera, and supplemental cab heat), but that wouldn't really qualify as a feature of my truck right? ;)
