I’m about the farthest from the “weight cops” on this site and I’ll say that the newer Ram 1500s are possibly the worst choice for a truck camper.
Full size ish hard side camper is too much for a Ram 1500. Get a Chevy or ford with leaf springs if gotta haul a campermon a half ton. IMO.
