For our first stop we stayed at the KOA in Crescent City CA. Be sure to take the Howland Hill Road scenic drive. Dirt road but well packed and lots of cars there especially on the weekends. Here's the link. Scroll down.

For the second stop we stayed at Ancient Redwoods RV Park in Redcrest CA. It's right in the middle of the Redwoods but off to the side so it's easy to get into and out of. Long level pull through paved sites. Very nice owners with gift shop on site. http://ancientredwoods.net/
