Gold Bluff is fine for Truck Campers. I stayed there last summer. The drive in is on a steep dirt road over a ridge. It's narrow and cars will have to find a pull out to let you pass by. The campground is first come first served. mid week is best. Very cool when the elk walk past your camp

It looks like they changed the campground policy for reservations only during the summer. We were going to head there a couple weeks ago but found everything booked and nothing available.
