best fresh water hose

Hi Bumpyroad,

I had those and thought they were the cat's meow. Unfortunately each of mine developed pin hole leaks. Probably my own fault for not using a pressure regulator.

x2. if you do hook up, make sure you have a way of regulating pressure. I've been to more than a few sites that have water pressure in the 90psi range or more. Use a watts regulator.

and for a hose I use the collapsable hoses camping world sells. I have a 25ft and a 50ft that wind up into a housing. each one when stored is about 12"x12"x1" nice and neat

I think toss it in the mud would be a good solution for a quick connect that I had to remove to hook up my hose. and why the 2.5 gallon bucket, you hooked up a hose why wouldn't they want to?

Complete RUBBISH ... I'm not "counting" on anything. :R I've never suggested "permanently" connecting to a community water source, in fact my original post on this subject said exactly the opposite. All I've said is that using a quick disconnect fitting to connect to a community water source is in fact the most courteous way of using this supply because if someone else comes along looking for water I can quickly disconnect and allow them to do so. Another method is to attach a Y adapter so two people can use the same source at the same time, whether either is feeding a hose that in turn is filling a trailer's fresh water holding tank or whether one may be filling a portable container of one sort or another. Good grief, this isn't complicated. :S

Too bad this original question went sideways. I’ve been researching hoses for well over a year now. My findings are your going to comprise on something. I am going to try the white version of The flexzilla hose. I have 2 flexzilla air hoses & have loved them for 2 years now. I know the green flexzilla is drinking water rated but the black mold problems turns me off

You know very well that many people won't come looking for who ever has his permanent connection on there and they'll just move on. Your counting on that.
