Best half ton truck to own out of warranty
Just wondering, which would you choose? I've had 5.4's and a 6.8. Both were great reliable motors. Here are my basic requirements... Basic towing up to around 6000 lbs. Mostly just a dail...

I'm a Ford guy for sure, but I didn't want a 3v 5.4... So that's why I held on to my 97 5.4 for so long...
If you could find a 2005 or so Ram 1500 Mega Cab (it's a 3/4 ton chassis) that would be a heck of a tow rig.... It's got the 5.7 HEMI in it, but probably not the best mpg's....
