Best half ton truck to own out of warranty
Just wondering, which would you choose? I've had 5.4's and a 6.8. Both were great reliable motors. Here are my basic requirements... Basic towing up to around 6000 lbs. Mostly just a dail...

Might be tough to find in Jeremy's price range. Ideally, I would go with any of the newer generation Ford or Chevys with the 6+ speed trans, or 07 and later second gen Tundra. All 3 might be hard to find in that price range.
I've been a user on Tundra Solutions for years. I like the first Gen Tundra but the Crew Cabs are still pricy. I found a nice 06 crew cab Tundra with only 60k miles.... It was still 18,500 :(

I pulled the old trailer in my sig with my old 2000 first gen Tundra with the 4.7 V8 and it was OK but felt like it was at its limit. That price sounds high for the 06.
