Best half ton truck to own out of warranty
Just wondering, which would you choose? I've had 5.4's and a 6.8. Both were great reliable motors. Here are my basic requirements... Basic towing up to around 6000 lbs. Mostly just a dail...

Without a doubt it would be a Toyota Tundra. Most reliable truck made as reflected by JD Powers for the past 5 years in a row. I have owned every manufacturer's trucks and SUVs and by far the most trouble free were the 5 Toyota pickups which I put more than 170,000 miles on each of them with nothing more than scheduled maintenance and that included a lot of off road miles.
