- llowllmsExplorerWe went with Grange Mutual and have had excellent service through them. They replaced the floor in a hybrid we had with no questions or hassall. We also had a no deductible policy and was cheaper than Progressive, Geico, and our home and car insurance carrier. The home office is in Columbus, Ohio.
- old_guyExplorercheck with the truck insurance company, they might do trailers and they might give a discount for two vehicles.
- rbpruExplorer IIWe had good luck with Progressive but it was not a seasonal policy.
- nineoaks2004ExplorerWe use GEICO. for everything... Best prices and good coverage. We used to have it with Natl Gen. (Good Sam) but saved almost $ 50.00 a month with the same coverage.
- NanciLExplorer IIProgressive -with out a doubt !
Our story:
Last year we put a brand new 2018 trailer on a permanent site in Key Largo. My brother in law advised going with Progressive so we did.
We insured it for the cost we paid for it and that included $2000 for contents and another $1500 for emergency travel.
We doubled checked and that included wind and flood.
In the fall hurricane Irma sent a five foot salt water surge through the rv park totaling everything in it's path including our trailer.
I won't go into all the details, but shortly after we were allowed to get back into the park we had a check for the full amount and we now have a replacement 2018 trailer insured for the same.

PS: almost forgot, Our home and auto insurer, state farm, all-state and a hand full of others would not insure it - donn0128Explorer IIWho are your vehicles insured with? Give them a call.
- GdetrailerExplorer IIIHave you checked with your "auto" insurance co?
may just need to add a RV "rider" to your existing auto policy or if not, be able to get you a specific policy that the campground requires and often times will give multi-policy discounts.. - KD4UPLExplorerI have mine with my auto insurance company, the camper is just one additional "vehicle". I don't see a reason to deal with a separate policy. Usually insurance companies give a discount for volume anyway. I have home, auto, business, life, and boat all with the same company.
- kerrlakeRooExplorerNot saying they are best, but Progressive does offer it.
