- Turtle_n_PeepsExplorerWhat company sells over 75 every second of the day? Far more than any other company?
Over 6.5 million a day?
They must be the best because they sell so many. :B - Ryan_Elli1Explorer

Fla-gypsy, Got it. I thought perhaps my third grade math lessons of addition had let me down. I guess if you add all 4 GM product lines together they are out selling Ford volume wise but thats across two different market segments. I see, there is some twisting and turning of numbers there.
Are you forgetting the 450-550 that GM doesn't offer which are certainly included in Ford's numbers? What is there to twist? This argument is about as retarded as the Chevy and GMC truck sales numbers must be kept separate. GM built a midsize pickup and the numbers in which it sells contribute the total number of pickups sold. If Ford doesn't like it, they can build one as well, and it's numbers would count toward total number of pickups they sell.
KSSS, you are true about the F450. That is still called a pick-up. The article is based on P/U sales. I found and article that does state Ford considers the F450 when built with a boxed bed with tailgate a P/U. So yes they include the F450. Don't know how many. - itguy08Explorer

Didn't JD Powers rate the 6.0 PSD engine as the best back in 2004 of so?
The only place that does engines is Wards. I have no idea if they did or not rate the 6.0.I will venture out here and call ITguy out. Your NewsW all over again in my mind and many ohers. Seach NewsW crew, same guy IMO.
I'm me and that's it. Sorry if your brand is Ram. The facts from multiple sources that track them as a whole rate Chrysler as on average the bottom of the barrel. You can justify it all you want but those are the facts. It's not cherry picking or whatever when they all say mostly the same thing. But hey don't let the facts get in the way of your preconceived ideas.
Should Chrysler someday figure out how to do quality I've got no problems saying that. But they have not in the past 80 or so years they have been in business. Doubtful the light bulb will turn on any time soon. - TurnThePageExplorerJust cherry picks statistics to support their view. Apparently even to the detriment of their preferred brand (as long as they can get a dig in to Ram). Still reminds me of another blind brand loyalist more.

Ford has so much brand loyalty with their trucks. I know a couple of guys that bought the 6.0's and got burned by them and got little to no help from Ford dealers and they still would never buy any other truck.
X2
Itguy is one of them
Sincerely my 06 with 200k on the counter. - Bionic_ManExplorerSo, let me get this right. Ford is a whole 4 points ahead of Dodge and is 54 points behind RAM. And Ford is the one to model after? Keep drinking that blue Kool Aid itguy.
For the record, I think that Chrysler, GM, and Ford all build quality vehicles right now. I will say that from what I have read, two of those do a better job of standing behind their warranty than the third. - TomG2ExplorerWhat's all the bragging about sales numbers? Does that make a Ford better than a Lincoln, an Impala better than a Cadillac, or a .22 better than a .308?

- Cummins12V98Explorer IIII guess I was just lucky. My 98 had 380K when I sold it to my son and the truck is in great shape still at 400K.
