- blt2skiModeratorChildren are back out playing. Here I thunk those adult types used and read this forum........
As noted, at least the auto biz is back up, unlike the mid 80s when North American boat building took a hit, and never recovered!
So with this. bye bye!

As for pricing, you can easily get them to take $10k off and with used trucks being worth a good amount still your trade sometimes makes it worth while.
But 10K off still leaves you at 40 to 60K for a truck that will actually tow a trailer. Yeah, you can get a 30K truck. But it won't tow, or haul. - Engineer9860Explorer

The GM guys have already showed up trying to contort the numbers to mean something other than Ford was 1st again but the 1.is beside the name Ford. Let's see, if we add together anything that even looks like a truck regardless of the name or how many grocery sacks it can carry we can claim blah, blah, blah
You are really hung up on that **** aren't you?
You use the same conjecture that the GM guys use to beat the Ford drum month in, month out for.........how long have you been a member on this forum?
Does it hurt you some how?
Not at all, but I would think you'd get tired of crying about it in every thread. - fla-gypsyExplorer

- goducks10ExplorerIf you keep trading in every few years it's not bad. Owning an old truck that's not worth anything and trying to buy a new truck is tough. If you have a 3-4 year old truck that's paid for and sell it. You have a lot more for a down payment. If you have no trade in value then you need a big down payment to keep the payments low.
But yes the prices are darn high and I imagine many buyers have high payments as well. - azdryheatExplorerFord is #1 for the month but only by 6,278 units since Chevy and GM are identical so I combined their numbers. Yes new trucks are expensive but the discounts are pretty good if you look for them. I bought my 2013 dually for $12,500 off MSRP, which made it a sweet deal. That is also why I bought a Chevy over a GMC - the discount. I wanted a Ford, because they didn't cave to obama like GM did, but couldn't find the discount.
- Bionic_ManExplorerNice to see increases across the board.
Where are all the members who were screaming that there was no market for a mid-size from GM???
