You will probably find that the Payload Capacity of your truck will be the limiting factor. I did.
2011 GMC Sierra, 5.7, tow package, etc. Rated to pull 10,000 pounds. But . . . Payload capacity is only 1440 pounds. With the wife, the large dog, and I, plus fiberglass truck cap, I had about 700 pounds left for tongue weight of a travel trailer. Our 20’ Pioneer 19T4 pretty much maxed that out.
