Why manufacture arguments or rebut points that haven’t been made…

It seems to me that Michelin , Continental , and Bridgestone carry the best reputation across their entire tire line .
There are tests available for passenger car tires that show this .
For decades .
To argue that those 3 brands somehow make crappy LT tires and that some third rate manufacturer somehow makes the best ST tires seems counterintuitive .
Maximum psi shown on the sidewall , an upgrade to a higher load weight rating and an upgrade to load range D or even E makes perfect sense .
When has anyone said the 3 aforementioned brands made crappy LT tires… however none of the three make a ST tire… maybe if we just muddy the water no one will notice…
Maybe if someone can find a single advertisement from one of the three manufactures, pitching their LT tire for your RV trailer here in America, it would go a long way to justifying their use… na we don’t want to do that…
Folks there is a reason a for profit company won’t advertise their product and shout from the rooftops their better virtues if that were so…
This isn’t a quality argument, it never was, it’s a legal liability issue in the US market…
So let’s get this straight, Michelin , Continental , and Bridgestone make a LT tire that is what you should use on your RV trailer, but with the US having the largest RV population and tire market with Michelin , Continental , and Bridgestone located throughout the US, but they fail for some reason to advertise to this market… seems strange at the least…
I agree totally. So when other posters make a recommendation that someone else should use LT tires, they need to tell them these facts. Maybe something to the effect of-"We recommend you use such and such brand of LT tires, but be forewarned that the manufacturer of said tire doesn't recommend them for this application". Somehow, most of the times that's always left off the post.....As a mater of fact-all of you can bookmark this page and copy the last couple of sentences each time we get a topic of"which tires should I use?" You have my permission.
There would be no reason to include that disclaimer in the post if those LT tires were not approved for trailer usage .
Why do you believe that those Vanco 2 tires are not approved for trailer usage ?
Because another poster shared an email he received from Continental saying they were not. In additon, most asking tire questions are looking to replace tires on their TTs, that are speced for ST tires. I know some 5th wheels are a different story.
