I'm intrigued by this Softride Shuttle Pad Truck Tailgate Pad, my thinking being with the bikes hanging over the tailgate that might allow me to fold back my tonneau cover towards the cab and therefore not have to remove it entirely from the truck when carrying bikes. Anyone out there have any experience with this? :@
We use the Yakima Crash Pad, which is similar to this. Hang our front wheels over the tail gate. Works great for us, with two bikes, but I think we could fit four if needed.
