Good write up and I'm running the same truck that you sold. Hard to believe that a little V6 with a blower puts out as much towing power as the big gas-sucking 8.1. I don't doubt you at all, more of a commentary on how much gas engine technology has improved over the last 12 years.
Our TT is 8500 lbs loaded, I was thinking our next truck was gonna have to be a diesel, now I'm re-thinking that....There's a guy in CO somewhere that drops a Duramax diesel in a Suburban, dubbed the DuraBurb, maybe they need to consider another re-powering option and call it the EcoBurb.
I wonder if GM has their version of the EcoBoost on the drawing board somewhere?
