Big Foot Truck Camper NO taillights. Any ideas?

My 2012 Ford has a 30amp trailer fuse in the power center under the hood not the fuse block in the passenger kick panel.

Here is my wild azz guess - tail light wire loose or disconnected in a plug. You disturbed the wires while cleaning etc maybe caused a short and that fuse blew cutting all trailer plug power.

I’ve been wrong before.

I had the same problem on my Northstar. No / dim brake lights, everything else worked. It ended up being the camper plug where it connects to the truck plug. The contacts had gotten bent, and were intermittently / lightly making contact. Ordered a replacement plug with more robust contacts. Problem solved.

What do you mean by cleaned and resealed the camper to truck cable . Did you take the plugs apart and check the internal wire connections . Did you check with a test light the terminals on the female bed plug . If they all work the problem is on the camper side , if they don’t it’s on the truck side .

I don't know about yours, but there are a lot of fuses on my 2010 Ford that are related to trailer lights. I'd try seeing if you can find all of the fuses that are part of it.

If you have a test plug try it, if you don't, check to see if any power is making it to connection when the lights are on.

One more thing, my TC dealer wired my previous truck wrong. I guess because the plug on the TC was wrong. In any case, there were identically wrong. That required me to rewire after getting a different truck. You don't say if this is a new to you truck or camper, or at least I didn't decipher it.

One more thought, sometimes fuses can look mostly ok, but are still bad, so if you don't have a fuse tester use a multimeter or similar to test them.

I'd guess a ground issue.
Check continuity of truck side receptacle ground wire to truck.
If good, check all the + wires on the truck side.
If good, check a ground wire on an individual light back to truck (plug/frame etc. I beleive TC lights aren't grounded to the camper, but back to the truck, since they are insluated from the truck (electrically speaking) it would create a ground loop if the lights werent grounded back to the truck (the source))

I've not tore into TC running lights before, but given the lack of propensity for metallic surfaces near all the lights, I'd think each light has a ground running to a common location, all spliced together and then 1 ground to teh truck.

Just raised camper … inspected cable from camper to truck bed… cleaned etc…reseated ( twice )

And NOW i have zero camper lights. No turn signal, no break lights, NO running lights.

Previously looked at all fuses. They looked ok. Nothing blown.

Any ideas?

So checking receptacles would be next. Noted you have bed plug so check bumper plug too. Not clear on camper, do the taillight park lights within work, backup?

There are fuses in both cab (#6 20A controls relay) and engine bay (#9 20A) fuse boxes related to trailer tow turn/stop. There are also couple of relays.
Why (if blown) could be numerous causes.
Left and right turn/brake separate wires..

Yes. Just checked all fuses. All AOK. Now jacking up camper & checking connections. Thank u!
