Big Fords dropping Cummins and Allison

This member was the biggest, I mean biggest Ford guy on this forum. He made Ricatic look really small and frankly I thought he was either a Ford salesperson like yourself, or a RV salesperson.
I was shocked when his dear 6.0 when down, oh wait his family owned two of em..... Hopefully his son got rid of the other POS before it blew like they all will in due time.
OBTW he won't rattle sabers with you, he moves on and will tell his story much like Ric does.

Fact is. Ford is bringing jobs back to the US. The Cummins powered trucks were built in Mexico. This will save about 1600 US jobs.

Actually not that long ago, the Allison failure rate was pretty high in modified trucks. I haven't paid much attention, but the newer models seem to hold up fairly well. The Allison is a real good transmission, but it isn't the holy grail that everybody wants to make it out to be.
