I have a pontoon boat and spend a lot of time with the whole family on the lake. It's a lot of fun and would be a great boat to tow as they are very light.
One of the important factors in choosing my AF 990 was tank capacities. I like to boondock have the option of staying somewhere for a week or more without worrying about water or sewer. I was very surprised at how many campers have tiny tanks. Fine if you always camp with hook-ups but if that was the case, I would have a bigger trailer for comfort. What ever you choose it will be a nice unit.
