Bigfoot

Anyone know what a Bigfoot 25C9.6LB weighs wet? Brochure says 2800# dry, so I'm guessing around 3800 to 4000 wet, any real world numbers?

  • If your Bigfoot is a 2500 (with basement), I think about 4,000 pounds ready to go camping.

  • Base dry weight on my 2002 is 2370lbs with 242lbs of options = 2612lbs...

On the road with camping gear in the basement, food, clothing, propane, 2 group 24 batteries, 80w solar panel, f/w tank 1/3 full = 3500lbs...

After 2002 Bigfoot went 3" taller, so a bit more fiberglass probably accounts for your heavier base weight.
  • Actually, it is a loaded question. I have a 1988 1500 series. The decal says the dry weight is 1,900 pounds. I have weighted it set at 4,200 pounds (wet).
  • Define wet. Fresh water tank full? How many gallons? Full propane tank(s)? What size? The devil is in the details.
  • By "wet" youmust mean loaded, ready tocamp. Our family of six has aboutr 500 pounds of gear to our camper including twin batteries, propane water.
