Yes, some colors do cost more. Must be because they haul better. ;) Or, maybe it's because they match the color schemes of more trailers and truck campers. - mbloofExplorer

No, my truck is dark grey metallic which is definitely different than silver, but for the discussion I could have picked any set of colors even red tones. ;)

This thread has been all over the place except for color, so here goes. White, Silver, or Grey trucks are required for the heaviest of truck campers. Who agrees? :)
Well I have a white F550. I can assure you it hauls way way more than silver or grey. What exactly is the difference between silver and grey - billyray50ExplorerMy 2006 2500 CTD 4x4 long bed was a kidney basher right off the lot stock.... Now that I added extra leaf and airbags it is even worse. Funny thing though the 19.5 visions and 19.5 tires did not make ride worse?

IT'S A TRUCK - oilburner-daveExplorerThe F450 King Ranch I had rode good (my wife's words). The Kodiak will need some work (l won't repeat those words). Got rid of the Ford because of the poor emission design (6.4L) and having to pull the cab for any engine work. You can never have too much truck when hauling/towing. My take is that once your into a dually they all get within a few MPG of each other. Just pick a flavor.
