Biggest truck camper not for f450 550
I've noticed people saying that an f450/550 is needed for the heaviest truck campers?? You guys realize that the f-350 dually has a higher payload right?

Welcome to the forum.
Any question is welcome here and this forum is a great location to learn more about TCs. While I have owned 2 F350s, I prefer my F550 for many of the afore mentioned reasons. It is true, that Ford has sacrificed the capacity in the PU version of the F450, where it is close and sometimes bettered by the F350. There has never been a close comparison of ##s between a F350 and a F550. When someone has the ability to choose a F550/5500 in their Truck, they often go with this. Unfortunately some states have registration issues, as well as Home Owners Association regulations that play into the choice of a truck, of this type.
In another scenario some already have the truck and wish to make the existing truck, F250/F150/1500/2500 work for the camper that they choose. Sometimes these people just do it, regardless of the ##s and consequences. We will speak our mind, as a group. If a person is sensitive in nature, they might not find this forum a place to be, if they are prone to hear what they want to hear. This will be answered by you, if you respond here to clarify your original post, or ever post again.
