Biggest truck camper not for f450 550
I've noticed people saying that an f450/550 is needed for the heaviest truck campers?? You guys realize that the f-350 dually has a higher payload right?

I'm lost... after 44 years of continusly owning a TC I need to be taught all over it seems.
My question is serious... I am not trying to muddy the weater.
What campers are being built that a 1 ton dually can't haul.
Does any of the TC manufactures specify a truck larger than a one ton to haul their campers?
To me...
This is a truck camper forum... it isn't about towing a house trailer... it is about placing a truck camper in the bed of the truck and hauling the truck camper.
To me... the truck should be factory equipted... no aftermarket stuff to beef it up.
... will a factory equipted truck haul the biggest... or heaviest TC manufactured?
