Yes, he can share the backseat but wasn't sure if that's enough room. Currently in our smaller SUV (Mazda CX9) that would not be comfortable for the dog or the boys. We put him in the back where 3rd row seats are folded down. I guess we'll see when we go look at some truck options. I figured the 2nd row would be similar to what we have in our SUV but it sounds like there are some bigger options with truck cabs that would work like mega-cab as you mentioned. We've never owned a truck before ;-)
