When I was shopping for a small binoc for glassing game when hunting I knew I wanted compact and ease of interoperability. I wanted to be able to focus using one hand only. Many, even the small sized ones, were cumbersome.
I ended up getting a Brunton. This is a relatively inexpensive brand but I wanted reasonable because I knew it was going to take some moderate abuse by wearing them outside of my jacket while going through rough terrain. I wanted them to be accessible on a moments notice for scoping at relatively close distances.
...the money spent more was for the spotting scope instead.
