A tank wand is going to be the most effective tank cleaner. It places high pressure water right where it needs to be. If the tank has lots of bends then the flexible units work better. Tank flushers in general aren't all that effective at cleaning a tank. The permanently affixed ones do a great job of cleaning the area where they're installed, but fail to even touch other areas and walls of the tank.
Units that get mounted to the dump outlet, like the Flush King or Hydroflush, are the least effective for the majority of trailers. The bends and twists in the plumbing prevent the high pressure water from reaching the walls of the tank. At best you end up slowly backfilling the tank with water which is something that you can accomplish without the units.
