Blue Tote?

I've used my tote many times when camping at a state park. It saves me from having to drag the TT to the dump station. Once I dump the tote, I clean it out real good with bleach and water, and haul potable water back to the TT. It kills two birds with one stone. Trick is to make sure the tote is very clean inside.

I bought my FloJet primarily for dumping at home. Works great and I have a dedicated 5/8" hose for the job. It is also good to bring the FloJet camping for when the dumb sewer pipe is high above ground and on a slope that runs down to the RV. Don't know who installs some of these stupid setups. Couldn't be any RVers.

The FloJet can also be used to pump the stuff into the portable tank (don't call it "blue tote" because some are grey Like the Thetford SmartTote I have with the overfill protection valve mentioned previously) and the portable tank can be in the bed of the truck if you don't want to drag it and risk the calamities Old Biscuit described.

Dedicated hose would be best. We even bought ours in blue. No question you are hooking the correct hose to fresh water that way.:E

Hmmm....I'm interested in this. Do you use a regular hose? I did measure it at one time, as it is downhill, but it was longer than I wanted to use the larger sewer stinky slinky. I looked at the camping world website and it looks like there is a water hose going in, and a regular hose going out to empty. If so, I'm guessing I would use a "dedicated" hose for this just like the stinky slinky!!

Dedicated macerator discharge hose(s) for dumping.

I use a portable FloJet when at my sister place. Two 50' 3/4" hoses to the clean out and a regular hose from hose bib to Flojet for flushing/rinsing FloJet and discharge hoses out after dumping.
It's a 75' run with a 2' incline.
