You must have a lot of stuff in the bed, the pin dry is only listed at 1,845#, that is about 20 percent , so at max GVWR you should be at 2,340#. Likely closer to 2,200 leaving 800#.

Trust me.... no one was more surprised than me. I've weighed and was actually 50# over my 10,000# GVWR. Best I can tell it goes something like this:
B/W slider hitch = 275#
Pin weight of loaded 5th = 2100#
My weight that's not accounted for in payload = 75#
Wife + 3 small kids = 250#
Various stuff (kids backpacks, drinks, tablets, booster seats, jumper cables, flashlight, spare boots, etc, etc.) = 250#
It all adds up to over 10,000#.
